Howards Farm Soft Opening Event

Sunday, September 3, 2023
1–4 pm

Howards Farm is located at 29820 120th Street, Dike, Iowa 50624

Joe and Linda Bohr would like to invite everyone to their new Event Center “Howards Farm” for a soft-opening party – and to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary!

ABOUT THE FARM

The farm was originally settled by Cleo and Dora Howard in 1940, who lived on the farm until 1989 when they moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa. Dora and Cleo farmed the land until 1966 when Cleo retired, and then rented the land. Cleo died in 1990 and Dora in 1999. The land was sold in 2001, but the family kept a small acreage.

THE EVENT CENTER RENOVATION
Linda and Joe–along with their children–have been busily updating the acreage. The Event Center renovation has been a labor of love, restoring the property to a space that can be shared with the community. It is still a work in progress, but they are excited to finally have it ready to share with their Dike, Grundy Center, Parkersburg, and New Hartford neighbors!

Howards Farm will be available for official events in Fall 2023.
